Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered one of the sport's greatest athletes. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles and her younger sister Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles has won the gold and bronze medals in the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise prior to her first appearance in 2011 with the elite category of competition. A year later, Biles dominated the sport. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficulty of her routines at each of the four events including vault, bars with uneven surfaces and balance beam.
