Coleman was born in the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. She went to Arnold School Blackpool as head girl, and she received the highest marks for her A level examinations. She regrets that she didn't have a typical schooling when talking about her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman was on Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she participated in when she was at school. It also received a positive reception. Coleman was awarded the award with an award for her exceptional performance. Coleman won the Emmerdale part of Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. Coleman was awarded two awards in 2007. Coleman received two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer at the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer in the National Television Awards. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she received nominations in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and the Best acting in a Drama. Coleman is nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman would play the Doctor's companion alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat has decided to put her in the role as she had the most chemistry Smith. Additionally, she was more quickly than he does. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She is active in the industry since 1987 and was a part of various TV shows and films. She is however, more known for TV projects than movies. Eva has played a variety of parts on the screen, but two stand out: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vistas which was in CSI Miami. Actually, her part as the character Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children garnered its 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This gave her an opportunity to showcase her music creativity. Eva is a businesswoman, as well as an actress. Eva has three husbands and a child from the second.
